Our Story

The Piso family's journey to New Zealand is a testament to their entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering determination. Hailing from South Africa, Pienaar Senior's roots were firmly planted in the earthmoving industry. Growing up on a farm, he began operating heavy machinery at the tender age of 15. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for the industry.

Pienaar Senior's entrepreneurial spirit remained undeterred. He began with a small workshop, repairing vehicles and selling secondhand cars. Simultaneously, he seized opportunities in the local construction industry, gradually building a reputation for quality workmanship and reliability.

The company's growth has been fueled by a combination of factors. Pienaar Senior's unwavering belief in Mercedes-Benz trucks has contributed significantly to the fleet's reliability and longevity. The company's focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction has earned them a loyal client base.

In South Africa, Pienaar Senior established a successful earthmoving business that catered to the mining sector. However, regulatory changes prompted a significant life decision: to emigrate to New Zealand. With limited resources and a new country to navigate, the family arrived in Hamilton, ready to start anew.

In 2007, Vision Complete Earthworks was officially launched. With a fleet of a single truck and digger, the company embarked on a journey that would shape the local landscape. The family's commitment to excellence, coupled with their strong work ethic, propelled VCE to new heights.

Today, VCE is a thriving business, employing over 40 people and operating a diverse fleet of machinery. The Piso family's dedication to their craft is evident in every project they undertake. Their journey from South Africa to New Zealand is a remarkable story of resilience, hard work, and the pursuit of the dream.
